The challenge lay in engaging a diverse audience from children and parents to STEM (toddler learning category) enthusiasts and office professionals each with their own distinct needs, behaviours, and aspirations. At the same time, there was a need to evolve Kores’s rich legacy into a modern, relevant brand expression without losing the trust and familiarity it had nurtured over generations. All of this had to come together through a seamless and intuitive digital experience that encouraged discovery, fostered learning, and drove meaningful purchase decisions.

Our strategy focused on creating tailored experiences for distinct audience segments while building a cohesive brand presence. For young creatives and parents, we designed engaging, safe, and imagination driven content. For STEM explorers, we crafted narrative led educational journeys that fostered curiosity and hands on learning. For office professionals, the focus was on functionality offering easy access to product specs, bundles, bulk ordering, and a seamless checkout experience. Across all touch points, we aimed to balance Kores’s trusted legacy with a modern, intuitive digital experience that drove discovery, learning, and purchase.

The information architecture focused on simplifying product discovery with top level navigation by category and smart filters for age, skill level, and price. The moodboard balanced creativity and professionalism with a bright primary palette, clean neutrals, friendly typography, and a mix of lifestyle imagery, product close ups, and office scenes.

The homepage was designed with focused entry points, creating three clear hubs School, STEM, and Office to guide users effortlessly to their area of interest. An interactive bundle builder further enhanced the experience, suggesting complementary products in real time, allowing users to customise their purchase while highlighting the value of add-ons.

We created an immersive media experience that brought the products to life with lifestyle images, close up shots, and demo videos. This helped users feel more confident about the product quality and how to use them. Along with this, we added a fixed purchase panel a sticky sidebar on desktop and a bottom bar on mobile that always kept the price and “Add to Cart” button visible, making the shopping experience smooth and easy.

We built the Kores India e-commerce platform using a robust stack designed for performance, scalability and ease of content management. The frontend was developed using React.js for a seamless, responsive user experience, while the backend was powered by Node.js and Express. We integrated Shopify APIs to manage product catalogues and transactions efficiently. For content and media management, we used a custom CMS layer and ensured mobile optimization through adaptive layout frameworks. Hosting was configured on AWS, ensuring secure, high availability infrastructure.
